Chairman of the Board

[Note: As of 4/2/23, Mr. Kennedy is on leave as CHD’S Chairman and Chief Legal Counsel.]

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. serves as President of Waterkeeper Alliance, as well as Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Legal Counsel for Children’s Health Defense, and of counsel to Morgan & Morgan, a nationwide personal injury practice.

Mr. Kennedy is an esteemed author, with a long list of published books including the New York Times’ bestseller, “Crimes Against Nature.” Mr. Kennedy was named one of Time magazine’s “Heroes for the Planet” for his success helping Riverkeeper lead the fight to restore the Hudson River. His reputation as a resolute defender of the environment and children’s health stems from a litany of successful legal actions. He received recognition for his role in the landmark victory against Monsanto last year, as well as in the DuPont Case that inspired the movie “Dark Waters” (2019).

 


Vincent Feldman

Chapter President

Vincent is an artist, photographer, author and educator.  His work is rooted in architecture and the architectural landscape and embrace aspects of the built environment that generate meaningful reflection on who we were, are now and hope to be as a society.  His 2014 book “City Abandoned: Charting the Loss of Civic Institutions in Philadelphia” is a meditation and eulogy on the common good once expressed in the facades of government buildings, schools, hospitals, post offices, and cultural institutions.  This portfolio of photographs catalogue the broad and deep destruction policies of segregation and economic Red Lining left in their wake in Philadelphia during the 20th Century.

He is currently editing the Pennsylvania Chapter of Children’s Health Defense’s website and produces content for the the Chapter’s website a source for news on issues that are at the heart of the mission of Children’s Health Defense.


Nan Cardella

Director of Communications

Nan Cardella worked for 37 years as an engineer in Information Technology (IT), finishing up her career as a systems integrator. She holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a masters in Computer Science. She has completed a 4-year training in leadership for music improvisation and is comfortable facilitating groups of various sizes. She has been certified and practices The Work of Byron Katie, is ordained as an interfaith minister, and was certified as a Shiatsu practitioner, conducting a small practice out of her home. Nan brings IT and interpersonal skills to the CHD PA team.

 


Diane Soucy

Treasurer

Diane Soucy  joined our Board in 2022, as Treasurer. She is the founder of her own nonprofit, the Activities for Daily Living Center and brings nearly 15 years of advocacy and  community collaborative experience to PA-CHD. Married to her best friend, Diane is a mother to three sons, two on the autism spectrum. She is dedicated to ensuring the health and wellness of all children, and their families and brings with her the resources, and collaborations of her years of advocacy to the Pennsylvania Chapter.

 

 


Josh Mitteldorf

Science Advisor

Josh Mitteldorf is an independent scientist,  classically trained. Amateur musician, classically trained and author of several books. He is also a yogi, mystic, poet, journalist and statistician, mostly self-taught in these areas. Currently, devoting my best energies to the COVID narrative.
