Volunteer
In March 2024 Children’s Health Defense Pennsylvania will be restructuring our organization by moving from a Board of Directors to a Leadership Council. The Leadership Council members will each focus on one of the Chapter’s core missions. Our leadership meetings are held bi-weekly, see our Events page for the schedule.
Our current roster of leadership positions is listed below. Each area headed by a member of the Leadership Council will develop a committee of chapter members to help facilitate efforts in their mission.
CHAPTER COORDINATOR:
Maintains supervision of all chapter business and coordination with our national organization. Coordinate meetings and agendas of CHD PA’s Leadership Council. Currently overseen by Vince Feldman.
EMR LEADER:
A liaison, contact person with CHD EMR Team. Liaison with collaborators, PA for Safe Technology, MA for Safe Technology, Wired Broadband (NYC) Odette Wilkens
Keep tabs on all wireless developments in PA with a current focus on Smart Meter Choice, ADA violations, 5G & WiFi in PA Schools, and smart phone safety, Smart City sleuthing.
LEGISLATIVE LEADER:
Keep the Chapter and membership up to date with legislative developments in Harrisburg, prepare constituent meetings with lawmakers and presentation of CHD materials.
Our current efforts focus on Community Water Fluoridation, Smart Meter Choice, EMR in Schools and Vaccine Choice in PA.
SOCIAL MEDIA LEADER :
Produce and monitor posts across all CHD-PA SM platforms. Produce and deliver our monthly chapter newsletter. Currently overseen by Megan O’Malley.
WELLNESS & HEALTH PROFESSIONALS LEADER:
CHD PA Liaison with the health and wellness community of PA. Help keep track of the growing parallel health system now evolving. Keep tabs on upcoming health fair events and help plan CHD PA events. Report on developments for our new blog. Currently overseen by Angela Walker.
RTKL/OPEN MEETINGS/1A:
Liaison with CHD FOIA Attorney, Risa Evans, and collaborator organizations such as FIRE, Judicial Watch and the ACLU. Educate and help membership prepare their own RTK requests of State and local agencies. Aim to build a 1A legal division for CHD-PA.
SCIENCE ADVISORY LEADER:
Coordinate and liaison with CHD’s national science advisory board. Identify public health records that help CHD gain intelligence one the nature of public health and work with the RTKL team to target records requests. Currently overseen by Josh Mitteldorf.
EVENTS AND PROMOTIONS LEADER:
Produce lectures and speaking events, imagine ways CHD PA can reach a broader community. Collaborate with other organizations in event planning.
MEDIA ADVOCATE/CONTENT LEADER:
Keep abreast of PA news relevant to CHD’s mission. Create original, writing and/or audio/video content for our webpage new blog. You can make an impact in helping others by getting our message out. Currently overseen by Vince Feldman.

Information table hosting and staffing – Help with our tables at events, rallies, childhood Covid19 vaccine clinics. Set up a PA CHD information table in your county. Identify like minded groups in your area who would welcome a PA CHD info table at their events.
Vaccine injured liaison and action coordinator – Locating and communicating with vaccine injured by geographic areas of the State.
Media Editorial Engagement – Outraged by media and official dis-information and mis-information. Confront this harmful propaganda with letters and emails. We look to publish the best of these each month in our Chapter Newsletter. Reach out through our contact page for help/suggestions
Partner Organization Liaison – Help knit like minded groups with CHD-PA. Lend a hand in helping us stay in contact with collaborative organizations and groups.
Marketing and Design– Expanding the reach and recognizability of our brand. Help design posters and flyers. Get the wheat paste made up and ready.
