Brownstone’s November Supper Club in Philadelphia will feature guest speaker Tom Harrington, Senior Brownstone Scholar and Brownstone Fellow, Professor Emeritus of Hispanic Studies at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and author of The Treason of the Experts: Covid and the Credentialed Class. Tom’s writings and scholarship provide deep insights into power structures and how they function both historically and in the present moment on multiple levels of our social, political, and economic lives. Our venue, the festive Las Bugambilias in Philadelphia’s famous Old City district, offers a buffet of all-you-can-consume Mexican food, margaritas, beer, and wine — all included. One outdoor parking lot is immediately adjacent to the restaurant ($25) and a large indoor lot is around the corner on 4th and Chestnut Sts. ($20-30)
