CHD PA at Odunde
The come celebrate African culture this June 9th at Odunde, America’s largest African street festival.

If you’ve never been to Odunde you’ve missed out on one of the most high spirited street festivals in Philadelphia if not the country. Each 2nd Sunday in June 100s of thousands crowd South Street to participate in the biggest African cultural festival in the country.
There is a lot of live music, dancing, crafts, food and clothing. I have lived a block from the festival for 24 years and can attest to the wonderful outpouring of positive vibrations and solidarity this occasion attracts.
CHD PA plans to have a table out to let people know what CHD is about and to get them tuned into the resources the PA and our national organization have to offer. We will also highlight the work our Africa Chapter has been doing and about the threat the WHO poses, to the health of the people of the African continent.
CHD PA will need the aid of volunteers to help out at our info table and to talk to people about the important mission our chapter and CHD in general is engaged in with preventing our government agencies and corporate partners from assaulting the world’s health and its pressing for authoritarian controls.
