Caroline Chang Interviews Health Freedom Defense Fund President Leslie Manookian
Caroline Chang, a PA CHD leader in the Poconos recently spoke with the HFDF founder and president Leslie Manookian on her podcast Awake 2 Oneness Radio.
Leslie founded the Health Freedom Defense Fund (HFDF) in mid-2020. A nonprofit organization which seeks to rectify health injustice through education, advocacy, and legal challenges to unjust mandates, laws, and policies that undermine our health freedoms, our Constitution, and human rights.
Leslie is a former successful Wall Street business executive and award-winning documentary filmmaker. She writes and speaks on topics of health, freedom, nutrition, personal development, politics and more.
Leslie chose to leave Wall Street at the height of her career in order to pursue this more meaningful path. Leslie holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BA from Middlebury College, and M.L.C. Hom from Lakeland College of Homeopathy.
Under her leadership, HFDF has sued government and private businesses successfully overturning unconstitutional medical mandates. In 2022, HFDF’s lawsuit, Health Freedom Defense Fund et al. v. President Biden et al., ended the federal travel mask mandate nationwide. HFDF’s lawsuits have twice halted the Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) unlawful COVID injection mandates for employees.
As unlawful medical mandates of Emergency Use Authorized (EUA) products swept the nation in 2021, Health Freedom Defense Fund developed a suite of resources explaining federal law pertaining to EUA products. These resources have been used by scores across the nation to defend their fundamental right to bodily autonomy and voluntary informed consent.
In addition to the Health Freedom Defense Fund Board, Leslie currently serves on the boards of the Weston A. Price Foundation and Health Freedom Idaho. Leslie is a qualified homeopath, nutrition and wellbeing junky, and a health freedom advocate.
