Dutch police riot against lockdown protesters

The mayor of Amsterdam made an emergency order to police to clear anti-lockdown protesters this Sunday.  The Netherlands shut down nearly all retail businesses on Dec. 19, until at least Jan. 14.  Assemblies outside of more than 2 persons is forbidden.  The police openly attacked peaceful protesters with clubs, water cannons and attack dogs.

Two videos posted to Twitter below clearly demonstrated a new level of violence being exerted in the effort to protect the public.

The lower video shows a line of Dutch military veterans lined up as a shield between police and protesters attacked without warning.
