Non-Profit Files Lawsuit Against the EPA Over E. Palestine Environmental Disaster

The non-profit organization The Patriots USA filed a federal lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), its officials, and Ohio officials for their failure to properly execute their combined duty to inform the public of the real dangers posed by this chemical disaster, and to take adequate measures to protect public health and safety.

The group stated, “while others have already filed litigation against Norfolk Southern Railway, holding the federal and state officials accountable is especially important because they are the only ones who are able to issue public health guidance, and order things like evacuation, when appropriate. Not only that, but by and large most of the public still relies on the government to give them accurate information (we know, we can’t believe it either), so when the government is lying, those lies need to be exposed so that lives can be saved. As this is likely the most serious chemical disaster on American soil in our lifetimes, we couldn’t stand idly by while innocent people were suffering due to governmental negligence”.

This case will require ample resources to be able to go the distance against EPA’s government attorneys who will spare no expense in fighting this complaint.  Please consider a donation to the Ohio Derailment Lawsuit Fundraiser today.
