PUC Meetings to Discuss Rate Increase Provide an Ideal Opportunity to Speak Out on Smart Meters
PUC public hearings are a great opportunity to build the case for the Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA) to help and raise awareness about smart meter costs (financial & health). We can attend these and request a smart meter opt out, emphasizing how much we already paid for the smart meter, at risk of future rate increases for the short-lived smart meter, and deserve smart meter choice.
We can ask the PUC if they have weighed the costs of the impact to public health from the mandating of smart meters.
Please consider attending one of these up coming public hearings.
