Regarding the:

EMERGENCY REGULATION
GOVERNING THE CONTROL AND PREVENTION OF COVID-19
MANDATING VACCINES FOR INDIVIDUALS WORKING AND DINING AT
INDOOR DINING LOCATIONS (AS AMENDED 1/4/2022)

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health has published information on the religious exemption for its customers and employees.  Sections 3 & 4 of the order spell out what constitutes a religious exemption that is acceptable for exemption to the City’s vaccination mandate.  The order states:  “Philadelphia’s Regulations requiring COVID-19 vaccination for indoor dining locations does not apply to unvaccinated customers with a sincerely held religious belief against vaccination which prevents them from receiving the COVID-19 vaccination (“religious exemption”). 1 If multiple members of your party are seeking religious exemptions, each person provide their own attestation.”  Link to the City’s documentation of this rule.
